Came inside for a quick snack. I've heard of Pica Pica a few times from friends and finally had a chance to try it. Wasn't trying to eat too much so we ordered an arepa yellow pulled pork pernil with a side of small yuca fries. Arepa was yummy and pretty filling, they definitely give you lots of meat. Yuca fries were crispy and light at the same time, the green sauce definitely helped add flavor. Vibe inside was really cute and nice -- it wasn't that busy on a Wednesday night. Not sure if the arepa was worth $13, but it definitely tasted good!

I don't know what I was expecting but this is just what I needed. We got the 3 for 20 deal with he vegiterian, vegan, and spicy black bean and all three were great. On their own they were good but what made them great was the combo with the sauces. There were three sauces: a cilantro lime, sun dried tomato, and sweet and sour sauce (or at least that's all what they tasted like). Between the varried sauces and sandwiches it was really flavorful. The service was friendly and the food was really quick. The atmosphere was decent with colorful decorations and lots of windows. A small note is that there aren't water glasses but rather just plastic cups and a pitcher on the side of the room.

A great spot on a bustling corner in the Mission. (Fun fact: I ran San Francisco Marathon last year and the route went right past Pica Pica at around mile 22...how I wish I could have stopped running and gotten some arepas right there and then). It is counter service, which makes it very easy to walk in and order right away. We ordered one arepa each and the portions are definitely big! Each arepa comes filled to the maximum with a taro chip on the side. We got a pulled pork arepa and a vegetarian arepa, and both were very good. The yuca fries are delicious and very thick, with a great crisp on the outside.

What a great find in San Francisco. Not only was the food amazing and flavorful but it was also gluten free, which is a huge plus when traveling with my sister in law. I loved the variety and the portions were great!

A small corner store front, which few tables and walk up counter. There is a big choices of starters or decide on Arepa, cachapa or protein plate, and then you pick what to put in one (or all) your choices. The Arepas are always cooked to perfection. The chacapa was big and very filling. I saw that their plates come with rice, beans and plantains but had not tried it. Their yuca fries are delicious and goes well with their 3 main sauces provided on tables.
